After completing 27 hours of training on such topics as fire safety, assessing and treating injuries and shock, search and rescue operations and disaster psychology, Waseca CERT volunteers are ready and willing to respond! A heart-felt thank you to all of them!

Citizens in Waseca County can receive emergency notifications using the CodeRED Emergency Notification System. Residents and businesses are encouraged to go online and create a user account that will provide the information needed in order to disseminate emergency notifications.
Signing up for the Waseca County Emergency Notification System enables Waseca County authorities to quickly provide you with critical information in a variety of situations such as severe weather, unexpected road closures, missing persons and evacuations of buildings or neighborhoods. You will receive time sensitive messages however you specify.
